The Naples Big Book Meeting (original name) was founded in 1985 by Ann S., Dick M. and Phil H.  The meeting originally met at the Naples Fire Barn on Route 302 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm on Friday nights. 

In April, 1987 the meeting moved to the Raymond Village Church and became the Raymond Big Book Meeting. It meets on Friday nights from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.
