Place of First Meeting:  St. Michael's Church on Pleasant Street in Auburn.

Times of First Meeting:  1990-1997 Thursday at 7:00 a.m.  Then approx in 1997 Monday was added.  In 1998, Friday was added.  Then in 1999 Wednesday & Tuesday were also added.  By the year 2000, we were/are Monday through at 7:00 a.m. and Saturday at 8:00 a.m. to date. 

Current Meetings:  Monday through Friday at 7:00 am and Saturday at 8:00 am.

Present Membership:  12.

Our group has never moved location in the approximate 14 years of inception.

Group History:  Nancy L. visited California and AA meetings brining back different group ideas.  She wanted to have an early morning meeting using the Daily Reflection book.  She spoke to Don M. of her wishes, but didn't want to start a group without his help.  Thus our meeting was born in 1990 beginning on Thursday 7 to 8 am.  Nancy L., Don M. and Martha S. began meeting regularly.  The group stayed small for a few years.  They wondered if the idea of a morning meeting would ever catch on.

Nancy continued to strive for a morning meeting everyday of the week.  In 1998, Friday was added then in 1999 Wednesday and Tuesday were also added.  By the year 2000, we were/are Monday through Friday at 7:00 am and Saturday at 8:00 am to date.

Our Saturday meeting has outgrown our small meeting room and moved to a bigger room sitting in a circle.  During the week, we are able to fit into the smaller room.  We have been as small as 6 or 7 and as many as 25.  We have quite a few people from the Saint Francis House who are getting involved with our group.  They have helped us remain open each day of the week as openers.  God has been good to this group.

We have great business meetings, monthly anniversaries, and contribute to GSO, CSO in Portland, Area, and District quarterly.
